2024 St. Louis Area Boys Basketball Rankings

It's the beginning of the Spring and Summer tournament schedule and there were three really good ones in St. Louis last weekend with some stand-out teams.  The new kid on the block, the Illini Legacy blew through the small, but elite Back Court Class field, including a 34 point victory over an excellent Arch Elite team.  The runner up in the tournament, Illinois Warriors Elite, lost to the Legacy by 8 in the final and aren't too shabby either.  Both teams are in the top 10 to stay.

Hoop Squad (Mt. Vernon, ILL) won a tough competition in the Battle of the Brands and show up as 28th in the poll.

In the Spring Hoops Tournament, the Jets (Orange?) edged out Arch Elite (playing in two tournaments at once?) by one in the upper bracket.  The Warriors vs. Illinois Bears Wakey game score was not posted in the lower bracket.

So, it looks like some very fine summer squads are hitting the hard courts this spring.  Bring your A game for the Legacy.
